Wafa Ghnaim and I were commissioned to design a series of activity sheets inspired by the Thread Memory exhibition in V&A Dundee. During the April holidays of 2026, I supported the facilitation of the Once upon a Stitch workshops, using the activity sheets, cross stitching activities and painting tiles inspired by Palestinian Tatreez.

Wafa and I wanted the activity sheets to act as a starting point for conversations about Palestinian life and culture. It was brilliant to see this shining through in the ways families interacted with the sheets.
